Zac Efron is back in Manila to attend his Penshoppe Fan Conference tomorrow, September 29, at the Mall of Asia Arena. He left Misibis Bay before lunch today. According to my source who was with Zac for most of his stay at the resort, the Hollywood star enjoyed his sumptuous dinner last night which mainly consisted of grilled seafood. He also liked sisig and expressed approval of our San Miguel beer.
It’s not clear to me if Efron traveled by land to get to the Legazpi Airport where a private plane was waiting for him. When he arrived last Wednesday, he took a car to Misibis Bay even when the resort also offered a helicopter and speed boat ride.
So, how exactly did Zac spend his Philippine vacation? Well, I guess Zac got what he wished for, except swimming with a whale shark. In a previous interview, he expressed his desire to eat balut, climb mountains, and try water ski.
Yesterday morning, he ate balut for breakfast. And it’s not just any ordinary breakfast. He rode the resort’s helicopter to get to the foot of Mayon Volcano where breakfast has already been set for him and his entourage. At the top of the 2006 lava trail where a helipad was constructed by the owners of Misibis Bay, Zac also had a taste of new look (a local dried fish), tuyo, dilis, chicken and pork adobo, and sinangag.
This is where he had his breakfast.
After which, he took the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) ride to the 2009 Mayon Lava Front, which is three kilometers from the volcano’s crater. The 2009 Mayon Lava is the newest trail that has been developed in the area. The ATV ride costs P7,500.
He had lunch at Hotel Venezia where plated food sea bass and lamb chops where prepared for him. Once back at the resort, he tried windsurfing and sailed on a Hobie Cat (Zac not in photo).
When done with the water activities, he had a massage and shortly after, enjoyed a sunset cocktail at the resort’s amphitheater which has a view of a lagoon nearby.
This morning, Zac visited the different communities around Misibis and was, as expected, swarmed by the locals. You can say Zac’s Philippine vacation was short but action-packed.
Come back tomorrow to get a glimpse of Zac’s villa.
